He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Smith and Edith Smith (Nelson); and his brother Floyd. He is survived by: his wife Susan Thompson; his sons, Michael Smith (Barbara) of El Dorado, KS and Brian Smith of Wichita, KS; his grandchildren, Samantha, Dylan (Allison), Emma, Spencer and Sebastian; his great grandchild Adam; his brother Gordon (Doris); and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Tennyson, Darlene Wenstad (Arlan), Cheryl Thompson of Mohall, ND, Jodi Quiner of Brooklyn Place, MN, Richard Thompson of Clayton, MI and Kevin Thompson (Deb) of Murfreesboro, TN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
