With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Duane Preabt of Minot, North Dakota, born in Mandan, North Dakota, who passed away on January 13, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Preabt and Garnet Preabt (Siedeman); his wife Donna Iszler; and his siblings, Janice Hines and Jerry Preabt.
He is survived by: his former spouse Jeresa Thorensen; his sons, Shawn (Iva) of Fargo and Tim (Linda) of Detroit Lakes, MN; his grandchildren, Haylee Sirjord (Justin), Rylan, Sierra and Molly Preabt; his great grandchildren, Micah and Keaton Sirjord; his stepdaughter Cheryl Misialek (Lynn) of Grand Forks; his grandchildren, Kyle, Kelsey, Kody and Kourtney; his brother John Preabt of Minot; his nephew Melvin Hines; and his niece Laura Garnet.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the ND School for the Blind or Hospice of the RRV.
