With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Duane F Johnson of Minot, North Dakota, born in Devils Lake, North Dakota, who passed away on December 24, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Johnson and Alma Johnson (Gustafson); and his siblings-in-law, Robert, Geri Albert and Jerome Albert.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Albert; his daughters, Kristi Toy (Mike) of Fargo, ND, Kim Nelson (Derrick) of Pelican Rapids, MN and Kelly Aberle (Darcy) of Bismarck, ND; his grandchildren, Kelsey, Karlie, Kyle, Michael Toy of Fargo, ND, Kirby, Kia Nelson of Pelican Rapids, MN, Brady and Blayke Aberle of Bismarck, ND; and his siblings-in-law, Jerold Albert (Julie) of Bismarck, ND, Glen Albert of Ryder, ND and Julie Hathaway (Mark). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and numerous cousins that he considered more than just cousins.
Memorials are preferred to: Minot State University – Duane and Roberta Johnson Endowment Fund, Christ Lutheran Church, Bishop Ryan Catholic School Teachers' Endowment Fund, or a charity of the donor's choice.
