It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Bjertness of Minot, North Dakota, born in Stanley, North Dakota, who passed away on March 13, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Stacy and Ruth Stacy (Rogers); her husband Elmer 'Ole Bjertness; and her siblings, Lillian Dixon and Charles Stacy.
She is survived by: her former husband Gordon Miller; her daughters, Sandra Waterman (Ken) of Rohnert Park, CA and Brenda Miller; and her stepchildren, Gregg Bjertness (Rhonda), Jody Kraft (Darrell), Dana Bjertness (Laurie) and Tanya Hanson (Kent). She is also survived by two grandchildren; twelve step grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
