He is survived by: his wife Virginia Bechtold; his son Christopher Don Copeland; his grandchildren, Timothy DonAllen Copeland (Ashley Kimble), Sierra Dawn Copeland, Joshua Tyler Preston, Tahnee Danae'Preston, Daycee Ann Preston and Adam John Copeland; and his siblings, Cindy Heid, Richard Copeland (Vicki), Albert Copeland (Tammy) and Becky Burton (Richard).
