He was predeceased by: his sister Donna Johnson; his brothers-in-law, Daniel Pitner and Peter Kraft; and his parents-in-law, Judy Pitner, Jackie Pitner, Regina Pitner and Joseph Pitner.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Duane Lund (Sue) of Sawyer and Connie Geyer (Bruce) of Minot; his sisters, Judy Ness (Marvin) of Douglas, ND and Julie Kay Bjelland (Kerry); his siblings-in-law, Pete Johnson of Minot, Lawrence Pitner (Barbara) of Minot, Joseph Pitner, Jr., John Pitner (Irene) of Minot, Gladys Kraft of Norwich and Joyce Bean of Missouri; his grandchildren, Nikki Rau (Mark), Colton Lund, Dylan Lund, Kali Westmeyer (Justin) and Mindi Grudzinski (Josh); and his great grandchildren, McKlayne Rau, Trey Rau, Sutton Rau and Tandy Rau. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family request a donation be made in Hap's memory to the organization of the donor's choice.
