She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Thoreson and Dakota Thoreson (Mayo); her son Bill; and her great grandchildren, Ethan and Evan.
She is survived by: her husband William J. Synnott; her children, Kevin Synnott (Diane) of Minot, Delane Johnson (Roger) of Grand Forks, Kathryn Spain of Fargo and Brian Synnott (Molly) of Briggsville, WI; her daughter-in-law Donna Shaver of Des Moines, Iowa; and her grandchildren, Mary, Steven, Austin, Shaw, Sarah, Allison, Ann and Jacob. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
