With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Strandlien of Minot, North Dakota, who passed away on September 17, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Barbara Beaken. He is survived by: his parents, Harold Strandlien and Joan Strandlien (Beaton) of Moorhead; his spouse Delaine Lennick; his children, Bethanie Vann (Matthew) of Bellevue, Ashley Murphy (Samuel) of Britton and Cody Strandlien of Bismarck; his grandchildren, Wyatt, Anna Vann, Maddison Golden, Ryan and Tristan Murphy; his siblings, Mark Strandlien of Key West, Florida and Lori Taylor of Las Vegas, Nevada; and his pets, Mika and Boo. He is also survived by nephew, several nieces, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made in David's name to a local animal shelter or rescue.

“My thoughts and prayers of comfort for Dave's family. I was sad to hear this difficult news of Dave's passing. I knew Dave through working for the Army and Air Force Exchange. I was the Human Resources Technician at Offutt AFB Exchange. Dave would travel periodically to Offutt AFB Exchange to train managers for new computer updates. He was a very dedicated associate. God bless all of you.”
