He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bauer and Mary Bauer (Semanick); his stepmother Margaret; his in-laws, Robert and Julia Pals; his siblings, Judy Armbruster, Joe and James Bauer; and his great grandchild Anastasia.
He is survived by: his aunts, Rose and Ethel; his wife Jeanne Pals of Minot; his close friend Dave Leischer; his children, Sean Bauer (Ann) of Minot and Danielle Petty (Jason) of North Pole, AK; his grandchildren, Jenda, Briana, Kendra and Erika; his brothers, Robert Bauer (Pat) and Phil Bauer; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Bauer and Dick Pals (Hallie). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials are preferred to Mayo Memorial Fund.
