He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Benny" and Esther McCormack (Ruge). He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Paul McCormack of Minot and Mary Lane-Salvador (Tyler) of Missoula, MT; and his siblings, Jean Branesky (Don) of Kent, WA and Steve McCormack (Penny) of Des Lacs, ND.

In Lieu of flowers or plants the family prefers memorials be designated to Trinity Church of Minot or Wycliffe Bible Translators.
