He was predeceased by: his daughter Lindsey; his mother-in-law Betty Abelseth; and his sister-in-law Joan Gust. He is survived by: his parents, Alfred Gust and Luella Gust (Brandt); his wife Wendy Abelseth; his siblings, Nancy Davis (James) of Minot and Randy Gust of Minot; his father-in-law Fred Abelseth of Minot; and also Copper. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
