He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Olson (Kalvik) and Conrad Olson (Faugstad); his former wife Inez Ewing; his wife Violet Swanson; his stepfather Ole Vedo; and his sisters, Clarice Foussard (Emil), Corrine Bauch (Marvin) and Cathryn Boger (Leo).
He is survived by: his former wife Lucille Affeldt. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, stepchildren, step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
