He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Mayer and Agnes Mayer; and his siblings, Merritt, Alvin, Calvin, DeElda and Eilleen.
He is survived by: his wife Florence Mayer (Ley) of Jamestown; his children, Dr. Renae Mayer, Rodney Mayer, Monte Mayer and Matthew Mayer; and his sister Elaine Redman.
Memorials are asked to be directed to Trinity Health Foundation (Verhey Critical Care Endowment) to help provide care for others in the name of Clayton Mayer.
