He was predeceased by: his mother Mary E. Townsend; his grandmother Mary Townsend; his sister-in-law Sophia Clark; his siblings, Joe Townsend and Daisy Gilmore; and his father-in-law Douglas Flodstrom.
He is survived by: his wife Lori; his children, Monica Wilson (Maurice) of Apple Valley, MN, Chrissy Fandrich (Kyle), Cynthia Drake, Ben Drake Jr. (Melissa) of Brooklyn Park, MN, Magdelina, Esmeralda Drake and Minneapolis; his siblings, Sam Clark of Vicksburg, MS, Billy Clark (Sandra), Mary Sue Gilmore of Port Gibson, MS and Ruby Odom (Frank) of Fayette, MS; his mother-in-law Florence Flodstrom of McIntosh, MN; his siblings-in-law, Julie Peterson (Al) of Bemidji, MN, Kelly Flodstrom (Michelle), Renee Hutchens (Hutch) of Clearbrook, MN and Chuck Flodstrom (Myra) of Brooklyn Park, MN; and his cousin James of Fairbanks, AK. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
