She was predeceased by: her parents, Stewart Torgerson and Glenice Torgerson (Holly); her former husband Robert Axelson; her brothers, Bruce and Ron Torgerson; and her daughter-in-law Jan Christenson (Bruce).
She is survived by: her husband Allen Christenson; her children, Brian Axelson (Leanne) and Brenda Miller (Dean); her stepchildren, Bruce Christenson (Susan), Jane Smestad (Greg) and Rod Christenson (Karen); her brother Jim Torgerson (Analene); her siblings-in-law, Charlene Torgerson, Marge Sund and Virgil Christenson (Sylvia); and her grandchildren, Amanda (Eric), Clinton, Melissa (Anthony), Austin (Kilee), McKenzie (Brady), Carson, Robert (Rosa), Steve (Angelique), Brad (Tracy), Erin (Dan), Jenny (Cody), Christina (Chris), Olivia (Cody), Hannah (Kirk), Becca, Noah and Zach.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas Family Funeral Home (304 Main St S, Minot, ND 58701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Living Word Lutheran Church (710 46th Ave NE, Minot, ND 58703).
