It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey L. Schaefer of Minot, North Dakota, born in Amidon, North Dakota, who passed away on September 10, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustav Schauman and Cora Schauman (Hoffman); her husband Merlyn J. Schaefer of Rhame; and her siblings, Jim, Mavis and Jacque.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Schaefer (LouAnna) of Avoca, John Schaefer (Ellen) of Guerneville, Glenn Schaefer (Helga) of Karlsruhe, Germany, Donald Schaefer (Lynnette) of Arlee, Montana and Karen Schaefer of Polson, Montana; her grandchildren, Chris, Wayne, Aimee, Heather, Josh, Shoshanna, Lindsey, Nycolas, Bart and D. J.; and her great grandchildren, Kylee, Kamree, Kaden, Kloee, Zoey, Otto, John and James.
