He was predeceased by: his parents, Johanna Stein (Schafer) and Lawrence Stein of Mandan; and his son Jesse Stein. He is survived by: his children, Michael Stein of Minot, Jennifer Stein (Guy Hanley) of Minot and Kristi Schaefer (Mark) of Minot; the mother of his children Cheryl Stein; his grandchildren, Britton Bissette (Cody George), Brenna Stein, Devin Stein, Emma Burckhard (John), Jack, Oliver and Henry Schaefer; his great grandchildren, Roman, Caius Bissette, Gatlin, Oslo George, Laila Stein, Bella Guerrero and Sophie Burckhard; and his siblings, Laura Clouse (Kevin) of Langdon, ND, Larry Stein (Tina) of Wabash, IN, Ronald Stein (Jeanne), Todd Stein (Marilyn) and Sawyer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
