With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene J. Shipman of Minot, North Dakota, who passed away on August 8, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolf Stokke and Myrtle Stokke (Anderson); her husband Wayne Shipman; and her siblings, Mary Ann Widmayer, Andrew Stokke and Donny Stokke.

She is survived by: her former husband William Lazier; her children, Cheryl Lazier, Brian Lazier (Janet) and Marie Mueller (Danny); her granddaughters, Brianna Sayler (John) and Chelsey Brandt (Dana); her children, Elliott, Brystal, Brandon "Buddy" Lazier and Jayme Smith (Cedric); her grandchildren, Kainen and Oakley; her children, Erik Berland, Linda Duchscherer (Harry Cook) of Outing, MN and Colette McConville (Paul) of Outing, MN; her grandson Derek Duchscherer (Seannah); her children, Jack, Paigee and Cole Duchscherer (Dana); her grandchildren, Hadley and Tucker; her child Broc McConville (Kacie); and her grandchildren, Blayke and Declan.
