He was predeceased by: his parents, Iver Martinson and Lucyle Martinson (Hidde); his brother Charles William Tibbs; his stepsister Connie Parker; his granddaughter Shanna Tibbs; his grandmother Emma Baker; and his uncle Ernie Hidde.
He is survived by: his nephews, Mitch Tibbs (Sheila) and Mark Tibbs; his niece Lori LaForge (Pat); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Morgan and Adam LaForge; and his close friend Peter Thorp.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. John's Cemetery, Carpio, Caprio Lutheran Church, or Carpio Fire Department.
