He is survived by: his wife Claire Layman; his daughters, Carrie Heizelman (Daryl) of Minot, Sheila Jacobs (Frank) of Minot and Shirley Hartung (Cody) of Surrey; his grandchildren, Arielle Thornton (Austin) of Ohio, Twyla Dishon (Cody) of Minot, Diatra Heizelman of Minot, Isaac Heizelman of Grand Forks, Nathaniel and Leigha Jacobs of Minot; his great grandchildren, Owen, Camden, Aubri, Molly, Savanna, LillyAna, Elijah and Beau; his nephew Mark Pope (DelRae) of California; his great-nephews, Matthew and Austin; and his great-niece Amanda.
