He was predeceased by: his parents, August Grossman and Ann Grossman (Ludwig); his brothers, Albert and James; his grandson Chase; and his great grandchild Taven.
He is survived by: his wife Rosella Ziegler Grad; and his children, Rodney (Virginia) of Wendover, Steve Grad (Sylvia) of Harvey, Jon Grad (Nicole) of Warroad, MN, Judy Heilman (Mark) of Harvey, ND, Janet Sunderman (Larry) of Austin, MN, Sandi Deede (Wayne) of Harvey, ND and Susan Grad-Morassco (Sam) of Anchorage, AL. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
