He was predeceased by: his son Terry; his grandson Jon Lommen; his parents, Harold Lommen and Emma Lommen (Heins); and his siblings, David Lommen and Evelyn Lommen Maxin.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie; his children, Timothy Lommen (Cindy) of Minnewaukan and Susan Piatz (Joel) of Portland, ND; and his grandchildren, Chad Lommen (Amy) of Alberton, MT, Charlene Piatz Sather (Rodney) of Larimore, ND and Justin Lommen (Candice) of Devils Lake, ND.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Viking Lutheran Church in South Viking Township rural Maddock, ND: 5161 31st St NE Maddock ND 58348.
