It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myron Allen Jury Jr. of Minnewaukan, North Dakota, who passed away on November 3, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Janet Jury, (Gunderson) and Myron Jury, Sr.; his siblings, Robert (Dorothy Jury), Patrick Jury and Sherry; his siblings-in-law, Duane Filbert, Raymond Burkhardt (Buzz) and Victoria Jury; his in-laws, Walter and Esther Oxenrider; and his sisters, Sharron (Delbert Nelson) and Jane (Don Moore).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Oxenrider; his children, Jon Jury (Lori), Suzie Wobbema (Joe), New Rockford and Sara Deck (Michael) of Woodbury, MN.; his grandchildren, Brock Theis (Sarah Kolstad), Tanner Theis (McKayla Pfeiffer), New Rockford, Megan Fargo (Derrick Lewis), Lucas Jury Hope (Sarah Wendt), Evan, Preston and Britton Deck of Woodbury, MN; his stepgrandchildren, Lance Straabe (Chelsea), Hope and Kayla Cash (Dan); his great grandchildren, Parker Theis, Clara and Lydia Lewis; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Peyton and Sawyer Straabe; his siblings, Jim, Kathleen Burkhardt of Brownsville, TX and George Jury (Jan) of Moorhead, MN; and his foster children, John Hanson (Tammy) and Debra Seabold of Keokuk, IA.. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (601 5th St NE, Devils Lake, ND 58301).
