She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Oscar Hanson and Deanna Hanson (Olson); her children, Brant Hanson, Alanah and Logan of Bismarck; her sisters, Nancy Thompson (John Frith) and Jill Schafer (Tom Lang) of Minnewaukan; her nephew Mitchell Weed; her niece Brittany Weed (Travis) of Mayville, ND; her great-nephew Cade; her great-nieces, Lux and Camry; her pets, Jinny and Hank; her brother Tom; and her grandparents, Oscar, Edith Hanson, Holger and Ida Olson.

While Cheri was not a materialistic person, she generously gave of her time and talents to others-family, friends and monetary donations to anyone in need.
