She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Holte and Ruth Holte; and her siblings, DeLores Ust, Marjorie Larson, Harold and Richard.
She is survived by: her husband Howard Lahlum; her children, Lori Ann, Jeanette (Todd Sagmoe), Kirsten, Eric (Suzanne) and Marion; her grandchildren, Jacob Sagmoe, Ben Sagmoe, Gregory Lahlum (Lindsey), Marion, Eva Kerekes (Blase), Phoenix, Zachary, Alexander, Leo and Marcus; her great grandchildren, Lucy, Mason, Paisley, Briella and Charlotte; her sister Lois Holte Irwin; and her sisters-in-law, Arlene Flatlie, Bonnie Lahlum and Marilyn Lahlum (Mel Olstad). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oliver Nathan Funeral Chapel (251 Central Ave S, Valley City, ND 58072). A prayer was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Marion Lutheran Church (99 Main Ave, Marion, ND 58466).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the North Dakota 4-H Foundation, the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch, or to a charity of your choice.
