She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Swanson and Olive Swanson (Walstad); her brother Wallace; her sister-in-law Betty Swanson (Vondell); her son Randy Slama; her daughter-in-law Rochelle Slama (Lindenberg); her grandson Eugene Mecham; her brother-in-law Boyd Lee (Janice); her parents-in-law, Thorhallur and Sigurjona Geir; and her sister-in-law Margie Geir (Richard).
She is survived by: her husband Allan D. Geir; her son Wendel Geir (Minda); and her sisters, Janice Lee and Alice Nelson (Jim).
