It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Schlichenmayer of Mercer, North Dakota, born in Garrison, North Dakota, who passed away on September 20, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Bruestle and Gloria Bruestle (Boots); her brothers, Stephan and Jeffery; and her close friend Al Toman.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Kauk (Kory) of Baldwin, Jaimie Schlichenmayer of Turtle Lake and J. J. Schlichenmayer of Mercer; her grandchildren, Trevor (McKenzie), Michael Marie, Desmond, Charlie, Cordelia, Caleb, Camille and Caden; her great grandchildren, Remington and Wynonna; and her sister Pam Hennes (Mike) of Grand Forks, ND. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred to Wanda's family.
