He was predeceased by: his parents, Friedrich Ruff and Margaretha Ruff (Enzminger) of Medina, ND.; his spouse Martha Mayer; and his son Milton Ruff. He is survived by: his children, Pauline Carlson (Leon) of Willmar, MN, LeRoy Ruff (Deborah) of Nashwauk, MN, Barbara Snetsinger of Elk River, MN, Roger Bertram (Lori) of Grand Rapids, MN, Lori Garsow (Robert) of Grand Rapids, MN and Nancy Oberaigner (Steve) of Anthem, AZ; and his brothers, Walter Ruff of Grand Rapids and Harry Ruff (Inez) of Streeter, ND. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
