He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Shobe and Hannah Shobe (Trytten); his wife Madeline Shobe; his brother Ken Shobe; and his siblings-in-law, Candace Shobe and Robert Arneson.
He is survived by: his sister Gaynelle Arneson; his children, Alan Shobe (Holly), Julie Starren (Jon) and Jan DeLay (Tad); and his grandchildren, Becca DeLay (Colten Dahle), Aaron DeLay and Samantha Shobe.
