She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Helgeson and Nellie Helgeson (Hollands); her husband Orrin "Gunny" Thompson; and her brothers, Martin Jr. and Merlin.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Thompson and Michael Thompson; her granddaughters, Carissa and Mariah Thompson; her great grandchildren, Jimena and Hayden; and her siblings, Marlene Rotvold (Lyle) and Merrell Helgeson (Carol).
