It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Berg of Mayville, North Dakota, born in Reynolds, North Dakota, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hatfield and Golda Hatfield (Howard); her husband Jerome; and her brothers, Charles, Merle, Maurice and Don.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Zimney (Bob), Debbie Soholt (Jerry), David Berg (Jackie) and Kari Berg; and her brother Dale Hatfield. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Jerome & Shirley Berg Scholarship fund at Mayville State University or Mayville Lutheran Church.
