He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Semmens and Gertrude Semmens (Halaas); and his siblings, Laverne (Bud), Richard, James and Elaine Young.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Skadberg; his children, Sonja Moen (Mark) and R. Scott (Helen) of Stoddard, NH; his grandsons, Aric Moen of Nashua, NH and Evan Moen of Columbia, MD; and his sisters-in-law, Sherrill Semmens of Carrington, ND, Sonja Shannon of Hermosa, SD, Jeanette Skadberg of Gold Canyon, AZ, Patti Skadberg of Carrington, ND and Arlo Neumiller of Fargo, ND. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
It is requested that memorials go to the Semmens Family Endowment at MSU.
