He is survived by: his wife Irene Jacobson; his children, Richard Nygord (Cindy) of Jamestown, ND, Douglas Nygord (Joni) of Mayville, ND, Ernest Nygord (Dawn) of Fargo, ND and Janell Soell (Rob) of Haysville, KS; his grandchildren, Kylee Nygord, Ryan Nygord (Rae), Kaia Nygord, Aaron Nygord (Marisa), Austin Soell and Alyssa Soell; his great grandchild Scarlett Nygord; his brothers, Fred Nygord (Mary) and Dennis Nygord (Joanne); and his siblings-in-law, Edna Hansegard, Shirley Jacobson, Arlene Jacobson, Willard Jacobson (Donna), Norris Jacobson and Edwin Jacobson (Marlys). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
