She was predeceased by: her husband Dane Wendland; her mother Alma Diedtrich; and her brother Gary. She is survived by: her daughters, Valynn Mednansky (Douglas) of Belle Fourche and Renee Melkun (Phil) of Colorado Springs; her grandchildren, Aaron (Callie), Eric, Michael Mednansky (Rachel), Allison and Nathaniel Shoemaker; her great grandchildren, Grace, Abigail and James; her siblings, Gene Diedtrich (Joyce) of Newcastle, Della Flocchini (Bob) of Aberdeen and Donna Bland of Rapid City; and her sister-in-law Jean Diedtrich of Custer.
