He is survived by: his son Martin Grindeland (Sveta) of Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, James Grindeland (Thea) of Athens, GA, John Grindeland (Katie) and Sergei Shkalikov (Ashley) of Moorhead, MN; and his great grandchildren, Estelle, Isabelle, Nora and MacKenna.
