He is survived by: his wife Darlene Moritz of Emerado, ND.; his children, Wanda Wold (Dale) of Grand Forks, ND, Kent Sand (Jolene) of West Fargo, ND, Lisa Karel (Jeffrey) of Eagan, MN and Philip Sand (Janet) of Bismarck, ND; his grandchildren, Derek Sand (Tatjanna), Kenna Jo Rowland (Alec), Kennedi Sand, Kendra Bohannon (Tyler), Taylor Karel (Jaime), Tyra Putman (Ben), Breena Sand and Brooklyn Sand; his great grandchildren, Charlie, Maiken Bohannon, Lennon Sand and Tiegan Karel; and his siblings, Delno, Jerry (Carol), Ervin (Bertha), Leon (Shirley) and Patricia Grandalen (Bennie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
