It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emil Hauf (Max, North Dakota), who passed away on February 9, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludvica Aplass Hauf (Schmidt) and Leo Hauf; his stepfather Adolph Aplass; and his brothers, Robert, Billie (Adolph), Alvin and Fritz Hauf.
He is survived by: his spouse Eydie Stein (Cecelia); his children, Dana Hauf, Jon Hauf (Jodi), Darren Hauf (Heather) and Joel Hauf (Natalie); his grandchildren, Ean, Gracie, Zander, Brayden and Carson; his siblings, Lena Belew of Tucson, AZ, Betty Buxa of Rochester, MN, Evelyn Pryor and Allen Aplass; and also, Paul, Sara Ruhland, Dalaney and Dalen. He is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews.
