Volk and Magdalen Volk (Lemer); his siblings, David Volk and Lorraine; his brothers-in-law, Clinton Dye and Lawrence Reinowski; his parents-in-law, Clemence and Margaret Schatz; his siblings-in-law, Edmund, Rose Schatz, Jerome Schiele, Florence and Carl Zeigler; his grandchildren, Theodore Volk and Corbin Volk; and his great grandchildren, Elise Volk and Carson Reid.
He is survived by: his significant other Leona Schatz; his children, David Volk (Mary) of Moorhead, MN, Debora Lies (Paul) of Bismarck, ND, Duane Volk (LeeAnn) of Coffey, MO, Jacinta Schmaltz (Nick) of Rugby, ND, Margaret Keller (Darin) of Horace, ND, Sandra Keller (Rick) of Casselton, ND, Kevin Volk (Kristi) of West Fargo, ND, Keith Volk (Melissa) of Tacoma, WA and Justin Volk of San Francisco, CA; his sister Tillie Reinowski of Harvey, ND; and his sisters-in-law, Agnes Volk of Bismarck, ND, Bernadine Schiele of Minot, ND, Luella Vetter (Albert) of Martin, ND and Linda Joern (Curtis) of Harvey, ND. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
