He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Kruger and Louise Kruger (Funk); and his siblings, Colleen, Lenore, Sharon, Bruce, Darel, Fred and Gary.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kathleen Quenzer (Jim) of Grand Junction, Yvonne Svihl of New Hradec, Allen Kruger (Barb) of Gautier, Mississippi, Darwin Kruger (Pearl) of Dickinson, Kermit Kruger (Kassie) of Smiths Grove, Kentucky and Ronald Kruger (Patsy) of Casper, Wyoming.; his wife Vera Kruger of Beach; and his children, Sandi Kruger of Colome, David Delbert Kruger of Laramie, Wyoming, Eric Kruger (Riza) of Beulah, Krista Fogelsong (Lance) of Fort Myers, Florida, Robin Miller (Harold) of Baker, Montana and Susanna Quigley (Scott) of Oldtown, Idaho.. He is also survived by six granddaughters and six grandsons, along with seven great-grandchildren.
Yet he remained exceptionally upbeat, even after receiving a cancer diagnosis in early 2020, just before the coronavirus pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, his family suggests a contribution in Delbert's memory to either the Baker First Baptist Church (116 Kewanee Avenue, Baker, MT 59313) or American Legion Post #188 (51 S. Main, Rhame, ND 58651).
