He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Samuelson (Dave) of Moorhead, MN; his grandson Dillan; his mother-in-law Anne Andersen of Tacoma, WA; and his brothers, David Schmidt (Susan) of Alice, ND, Tim Schmidt (Lori) of Alice, ND and Steve Schmidt of Alice, ND. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
