William left this world on March 23, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom and Lorraine Tescher (Pendleton); and his in-laws, William and Bernice Achtenberg. He is survived by: his wife Jocelyn; his siblings, Carol Obrigewitch (Val), Ted Tescher (Kay), Don Tescher (Ebba), Becky Robison (Pete), Doug Tescher (Julie), Beth Clyde (Kevin), Perry Tescher (Melanie Foster), Teresa Voll (Mark) and Emily Schmaltz (Roger); his brothers-in-law, Tiff Achtenberg (Lori) and Greg Achtenberg (Mary); and his nephews, Jake Achtenberg and Rye Johnston.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A vigil service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Weigel Funeral Home (309 4th Ave NW, Mandan, ND 58554). A Mass was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Life Catholic Church (801 1st St SE, Mandan, ND 58554).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Home on the Range or the Dream Center in Bismarck.
