It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Marguerite Funk (Mandan, North Dakota), born in Beach, North Dakota, who passed away on February 9, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Tony; her parents, James Earl and Louise; and her siblings, Monica Fischer, Bob Lacey and Barbara Lacey.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Meek (Doug) of Beach; her grandchildren, Chris (Heather), Keaton, Jaret, Brehea Meek, Stacey Knodel (Daron), Thomas and Drake; her daughter Susan Bogner (Paul) of Dickinson; her grandchildren, Ryan and Daniel; her sons, Steve Funk of Bismarck and Rick Funk of Dickinson; her sister Mary Lou Gleich; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Lacey, Martha Hoffman, Tillie Funk, Helen Senger and Cecelia Hildebrand. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
