It is with great sadness that we announce the death of VerDella Schlenker of Mandan, North Dakota, born in Gackle, North Dakota, who passed away on December 20, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Krieger and Magdelena Krieger (Gruszie); her stepmother Marie Bauer-Krieger; her brother James Krieger; and her stepsiblings, Vernon Bauer, Lawrence Bauer and Violet Bauer-Eberhardt.

She is survived by: her husband Leland Schlenker; her children, Patty Berreth (Mark) and Delmer (Linda Schuler); and her grandsons, Cole Berreth (Trish), Blake Berreth (Emily) and Brandon Berreth (Jenna). She is also survived by six great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
