He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Lahren and Elaine Lahren (Bender); his sister Diane Harper; his brothers-in-law, Vern Farstad and Dave "Bean" Christman; and his father-in-law Alex "Pops" Ferderer.

He is survived by: his wife Janet; his sons, Chad Lahren (Melanie), Eric Lahren (Michelle) and Alex Lahren; his grandchildren, Cadence, Reese, Grayson and Beckham; his siblings, Lacey Lahren, Kevin Lahren (Trudy) and Kent Lahren (Kelly); his brother-in-law Tom Harper; his mother-in-law Emilie Ferderer; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Ferderer, David Ferderer (Rachelle), Greg Ferderer (Sherry), Geralyn Farstad and Carol Svihl (Roger). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
