He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Gangl and Shirley Gangl (Kuntz); and his grandparents, Andrew, Rose Gangl, Adam and Minnie Kuntz.
He is survived by: his son Tyler; his son-in-law Michael Helmers; his wife Stacy Gangl; his daughter Chelsey Helmers (Michael); his grandson Emmett Helmers; his sisters, Charlene Gangl and Pamela Morrell (Bob); his parents-in-law, Bob and Kathy Geiger; his brother-in-law Rob Geiger (Shelley); his cousin Justin Fleck (Jackie); and his friend Debra Bendish.
