She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Matthieson and Emma Matthieson (Joersz); her husband Vernon Baumgarten; and her sisters, Jeanette Oster and Shirley Matthiesen.

She is survived by: her children, Dan Baumgarten and Jody Weigel; her siblings, Delores Reis, Meta Suko, Gordon Matthiesen and Sharon Paul; and her grandchildren, Cody Mormann, Olivia Weigel, Jessica Baumgarten, Erin Baumgarten and Joel Baumgarten.
