He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Hepper and Rose Hepper (Mattis); his brothers, Calvin, Adolph, Willie, Alvin, Ronnie and Eddie; and his siblings-in-law, Tony Schneider and Letha Hepper.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Hepper (Tillman); his children, Gary Hepper (Molly), Sandy Marcellais (Clayton), Roxanne Hepper, Nancy Pichardo (Jorge), Wayne Hepper (Bridget Bahm) and Robin Gates (Steve); his grandchildren, Tessa Archambault, Annie Roquette, Christina Sarvis (Chris), Brad Hepper (Rita), Jayme Archambault (Tavis Stout), Codi Feland (JP), Samantha Archambault, Clayton Marcellais, Ethan Marcellais, Casie Rossman (Brennen), Lexi Archambault (Cray Hudson), Emma Hepper, Cate Hepper, Meg Hepper and Soraida Pichardo; his siblings, Harald Hepper, Stan Hepper (Kathy), Norma Schneider and Emma Barchenger (Ray); and his sisters-in-law, Lavern Hepper, Cecilia Hepper and Ruth Hepper. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
