He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Scharf and Helen Scharf (Farr); his former wife Patricia Ann Talbacka; his wife Diane Boit; his brother Wayne Scharf (Chloe) of Kennewick, WA; his children, Kim Pearson (Ronnie) of Bismarck, ND and Jeff Scharf of Crookston, MN; and his stepchildren, Bernard Boit (Linda) of Ellicott City, MD, Rhonda Puckett of Colorado Springs, CO, Jason Boit (Aimee) of Knoxville, TN and Clint Boit of Alexandria, VA. He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
