He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Knell and Ida Knell (Adolf); his parents-in-law, Melbourne and Christine Kincaid; his granddaughter Sara Knell; and his great-niece Layla Knell.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Kincaid; his sons, Mike (Melissa), Matt (Lisa) and Mark (Sarah); his grandchildren, Kylie (Tony), Dylan and Ryan; his siblings, Duane (Marlys), Dan (Bonnie) and Ardella Ekstrom (Tom); his siblings-in-law, Gary Kincaid (Pat), Wade Kincaid (Birdie) and Rhonda Schafer (Perrie); and his aunts, Violet Isaak and Marcella Knell. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the Knell family encourages the public to send memorials to Sanford Home Health and Hospice or Redeemer Lutheran Church building fund.
