He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan McDaniel and Evelyn McDaniel (Weiner); his siblings, Duane and Shirley Vejtsa (Vernon); his brother-in-law Bob Selheim; and his nephew Kurt Selheim.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Kathy Lureen; his children, Dawn Marschner (Rick), Darin (Jo), Dean and Deva Morris (Mike); and his sister Edith Selheim. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
